The RECONNECT case study Göttingen featured in ti-magazin

Drought, extreme weather, changing temperatures and precipitation patterns are changing forests, wetlands, grassland and arable land – and also the way in which people practice and perceive forestry and agriculture. Tobias Plieninger and Marion Jay from the Georg August University of Göttingen are investigating how protected areas are embedded in the surrounding landscape and how people connect to them. The project results can help to understand land use practices and narratives in dealing with conservation and resilience.
